-       Manage the day-to-day operations in city dispatch

-       Planning and forecasting of P & D schedules

-       Ensure that service levels meet and or exceed the needs of our customers

-       Review operational efficiencies and effect change as necessary in order to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and cost efficiencies.

-       Recommend, implement and maintain performance and productivity measurements

-       Communicate professionally with internal and external customers in order to resolve service issues in a timely manner and providing customers with status updates.

-       Maintaining customer profiles.

-       Ensuring drivers are scanning paperwork prior to arriving at the terminal.

-       Schedule repairs and maintenance for equipment.

-       Ensure Drivers follow Company Safety Policies and Procedures for example: HOS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, etc

-       Provide drivers with training on tablets.

-       Hold periodic driver meetings to provide training and feedback on customer challenges.

-       Completion of daily reports

-       Other duties as assigned

-       Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a transportation, LTL dispatch environment

-       Strong leadership and management skills

-       Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills

-       Customer service oriented

-       Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks

-       Professional verbal and written communication skills in English (bilingual in French is an asset)

-       Computer literate with sound knowledge of Gmail and Excel

-       Ability to work flexible hours (afternoons, evenings and weekends) as necessary

-       High School or equivalent

-       Ministry of Transportation regulations

-       Knowledge of Transportation Operating Systems
