We are hiring Class 1 Drivers for City (Pick-up and Delivery) in Burnaby.

Shift premiums of $1.50 for shifts starting between 2PM and 6AM.
$2.80 of employer pension contribution for every hour worked
What you will be doing:
Flexibility to drive various Class 1 vehicles and equipment, must be able to drive manual transmission
Ensure secure loads, pick-up and deliver freight locally
Have a natural customer service focus
Maintain routine communication with dispatch/yard control
Perform daily inspections and safety checks
Work in a team-oriented, fast paced environment
Other duties as assigned
What are we looking for:
You have a Class 1 license, air brake endorsement, and a clean driver’s abstract
Minimum one year of Class 1 driving experience, local P&D preferred
Familiarity with local area truck routes, industrial zones and dangerous goods routes is an asset
Fluent in English
This is a unionized position and shifts are determined on a seniority basis. All candidates must be available for any shift (24-hour operations)

Candidates must pass a criminal background and drug test for illegal substance - company paid
