About the Company
Founded in 1928, TST-CF Express provides LTL service within Canada from 24 locations and between Canada and the U.S. through its strategic partnership with Saia LTL Freight. We are now looking for the Part-Time General Clerk to join our Regina Team.
Shift hours: 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
TST-CF Express is looking for an experienced, career-minded General Clerk. We require a positive, team-oriented individual to set and meet goals and to ensure that every member of the team is delivering in accordance with the high standards of the company’s defined goals.
- Coordination and communication of office activities, including reception duties, supplies and stationery.
- Monitor inbound/outbound shipping and receiving.
- Preparation of confidential contracts and memorandums.
- Completion of company reports relating to both operational and sales statistics.
- Administer and manage inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages, and other correspondence.
- The General Clerk will also be responsible for the safety requirements of the facility.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures.
- Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse, and transportation would be an asset.
- Knowledge of PARS and ACI manifesting would be an asset.
- Proficient computer skills with MS Office Suite, AS400 and Excel.
- Attention to detail is critical.
- Excellent telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal skills communication skills.
