- Leads and inspires the driving team to achieve operational goals and KPIs
- Ensures all drivers are operating in a safe and efficient manner
- Organize all delivery routes to minimize miles and wasted time
- Ensures all drivers depart on time and full as per route expectations
- Dispatch all pickup calls to available drivers within and logical routes
- Drives revenue growth through promotion of accessorial charges
- Monitors and checks driver processes and progress frequently to ensure quality and compliance
- Directs the driving team effectively with clear communication

- Ensures all equipment, tools and resources the dock team requires are available and in working order
- Complies with all corporate policies and procedures
- Possesses a high level of energy and willingness to learn
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of transportation and supervisory experience. College or University degree preferred
- LTL experience an asset
- Supervising in a union environment an asset
- Demonstrates the ability to adapt well to change
- Excellent practical approach to problem solving
- Customer service oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Possesses exceptional personal integrity and strong values
